mixing

Audio mixing is the process of combining and balancing different audio elements into a single track, such as vocals, instruments, and effects.

    • Stereo audio with healthy headroom for subsequent mastering. Three (3) mix revisions.

    To start mixing we need:

    • The multitrack of your song with production and creative plugins turned on.

    • EQs, compression, and other mixing processes must be in BYPASS.

    • Each track named according to the instrument.

    • A master .mp3 of the song as it currently is.

For mixing we work with all tracks separated and integrated into 1 only project.

  • Our goal with mixing is to achieve a harmonious and balanced sound, where every audio element is clear, well-integrated, and enhances the main emotion of each track.

mastering

Audio mastering is the final process in the production of a song, which involves optimizing the sound quality of a recording for distribution across different platforms.

    • Stereo audio at 44.1 kHz 16 bits and 48 kHz 24 bits.
      Three (3) mastering revisions.

    To start working, we need:

    • The stereo mix with a minimum headroom of -3 dBFS.

    • The MASTER channel without any processing.

    • At least two reference tracks.

Unlike with mixing, in this case the work is done on a stereo track resulting from the previous mix.

  • Mastering includes techniques such as dynamic compression, mid/side equalization, stereo image, and level correction, with the goal of improving clarity, consistency, and sound definition.
